Sophia in a new musical, Lift, for one week only
Sophia will feature in the new musical, Lift, at Trafalgar Studios 2, for one week only. The show is part of the week of Perfect Pitch showcase of new musicals and you can catch Lift on Tuesday 25th October at 7.45pm, Wednesday 26th October at 3.30pm and Thursday 27th October at 7.45pm

Just thought you might be interested in announcing that Sophia is appearing in an exclusive cabaret tomorrow (thursday 5th June) night. The venue - Gala Queensway Casino, 79 - 81 Queensway, next to bayswater tube. The cabaret starts at 11 pm after most west end shows come down. Membership of the casino is free but applicants must be 18 and bring a passport or drivers license.

26 November 2007 - Never Forget
Sophia performed several numbers from Never Forget, the Take That Musical with the musical's tribute band at London's 24 nightclub to launch the show's West End transfer. The show opens at the Savoy Theatre in May 2008. Sophia will be playing Chloe in the pre-West End tour and in the original West End cast. October 2007 - Sophia in Dick Whittington (Oh yes she is!)
Sophia will be joining an impressive cast in Dick Whittington at the Hackney Empire from 1st December 2007 to 12th January 2008. More information here and tickets from here.
September 2007 - Les Miserables Concert
Sophia has been announced as playing Eponine in the Les Miserables in concert at Bournemouth International Centre on Saturday 16th February 2008. More information and tickets here.

Babes in Arms - Chichester Festival Theatre
Sophia will be playing Baby Rose Owen in Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Rodgers and Hart's Babes in Arms from 29 May 2007 to 7 July 2007. For more information and tickets click here.

Kombat Opera Presents
Sophia appeared in the final programme of the series broadcast on 25th March, The South Bragg Show, playing Drooliet, the animal-skin clad prehistoric love interest to Simon Gleeson's Stoneo (credited under the character names in some places although not named as such on the programme itself).

Les Miserables concert broadcast
The Les Miserables concert, recorded last month, is scheduled for broadcast at 7pm on Sunday 8th October on BBC Radio 2.

The current Les Miserables cast and the BBC Concert Orchestra are to record an abbreviated concert version of the show at London's Mermaid Theatre on 15th September at 3pm. Tickets are available from the booking line on 0870 950 2121. The concert is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on 8th October, the show's 21st birthday.

Sophia and the London cast of Mamma Mia gave a short performance at Manchester's Trafford Centre to promote the international tour's stop in Manchester later this year. There was quite a long piece on the Granada Reports news programme about it and if anybody in the north west happened to tape it, please email me or Jazz from the Lucy Harris website.
The Sound of Musicals on Saturday 21st January at 5.50pm on BBC1 features the cast of Mamma Mia, including Sophia performing "The Name of the Game" with John Alastair. Information from www.mamma-mia.com

Sophia recorded "The Name of the Game" for the the new BBC TV series The Sound of Musicals. The series is scheduled to be broadcast in the new year.

Mamma Mia on GMTV
Mamma Mia will be featured on GMTV on Monday 12th September. GMTV's Richard Arnold has been rehearsing with the cast and you can follow him learning the steps and words to Mamma Mia with the West End cast on ITV1. It's currently scheduled for broadcast on Monday 12th September at 6.20am and 7.35am so set your alarm clocks!

Mamma Mia?
It is being reported on the What's on Stage messageboard that Sophia is to take over the role of Sophie in Mamma Mia at the Prince of Wales Theatre in the West End. I can't find any official confirmation of this but if it is confirmed then you will be second to know!
