Who is Sophia Ragavelas?

If you have found your way here, you should know that Sophia Ragavelas is a rising star of musical theatre who first came to prominence playing the role of Eponine in Les Miserables and has just completed a spell playing Fantine in the same show. Her full biography is here.

Where can I see Sophia perform?

Sophia's last role was as Baby Rose Owen in Babes in Arms at Chichester Festival Theatre. As soon as we find out anything about her next role, you'll read about it on this very site.

How old is Sophia?

The question we are most frequently asked. Being old fashioned English gentlemen, we don't feel it right to reveal a lady's age. Apart from which, we haven't found out ourselves yet!

What is Sophia's singing range?

Again, officially, we don't know, but it is something we are looking into.

How can I contact Sophia?

You could try through her agent. www.paultelford.net

So, why a website for her?

We felt that Sophia had a growing number of fans, especially from her time in Les Mis, that, given the lack of an official website, something was required to keep her fans informed as to her current projects.

Why do you make the statement that the site has no connection to Sophia, herself?

Because it doesn't! It is totally independent, run by fans for fans. We draw all our information from various sources and keep our eyes closely on all the official and unofficial theatre websites to make sure that this site is as accurate as possible, although we don't guarantee total accuracy! We would like to increase the amount of original content on the site and would welcome any contributions of relevant articles, reviews, photographs etc.

Does Sophia know about the site?

Yes. The webmaster "ambushed" Sophia outside the Prince of Wales Theatre after a performance of Mamma Mia and yes, she has visited the site. I'd like to thank Sophia for being so patient and taking a few minutes to talk.

Isn't Sophia at a stage in her career when an official site would be very useful?

Yes. If Sophia's agents read this then an official site would be excellent for Sophia. We would be only too willing to provide this service if asked
